Megan Walls, Esq. is a practicing attorney in the state of Nevada. Ms. Walls earned her Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Political Science from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington and her Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from Gonzaga University School of Law.
During her legal studies, Ms. Walls completed internships with the Spokane Public Defender’s Office and the Spokane Superior Court where she worked with participants of the mental health and substance abuse therapeutic courts and the family division. She also spent two summers as a law clerk in a boutique law firm in North Dakota where she worked on civil litigation, probate, municipal law, and oil and gas law.
In her final two years of study, Ms. Walls served first as an associate editor of the Gonzaga Law Review, during which time she published a student article, and subsequently as a managing member of the Law Review Board. Ms. Walls also received a CALI Award in Trusts and Wills and externed with the elder law clinic at Gonzaga, where she developed a passion for estate planning while serving community seniors of limited means.
After receiving her J.D., Ms. Walls acted as judicial law clerk to the Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of the U.S. Virgin Islands, where she further developed litigation skills while working on varied cases involving civil litigation, criminal offenses, prisoner rights, and administrative law. Ms. Walls permanently relocated to the Las Vegas area in August 2019.
